On the north side of our pool we have tiles that are held up by brackets. Please make sure to not have anyone jump on these and if at all possible avoid stepping on them.
We commonly have people bring in food or drinks. We have always had incredible visitors who clean up after they come so we have no issue with any food or drinks. I also usually leave a table up on the patio that you can move around and use.
